The compositions on it reflect the wide range of possibilities of the instrument"says Dawid Głogowski. "On this CD I used various variations from the raw timbre of a natural trumpet, through classical and chamber sound, to jazz notes" he adds.
While working on the album, the artist was accompanied by a group of outstanding musicians, including those associated with the Szczecin Philharmonic. Among the pieces of music in which the trumpet is naturally in the foreground, you will also hear other brass and wood instruments, the electric guitars, percussion instruments, and even ...the organs. Among other solo pieces for the trumpet and the piano we will hear "Centennial Horizon" by Kevin McKee and "Rhapsody in Blue" by George Gershwin, also chamber music: trio for the trumpet, the trombone and the piano "Pastorale" by Eric Ewazen and even a brass quintet in Colier Jones's "Four Movements for Five Brass. The album also includes film and entertainment music compositions such as James Morrison's "Scream Machine"; "Rhythm of Our World" by Arturo Sandoval or "Gonna Fly Now" by Bill Conti, performed with the Military Orchestra in Szczecin.Dawid Głogowski
