What is M.M.M.?
Music.Multimedia.Management. is a two-year MMM program which is supposed develop the competences of specialists in the international cultural sector.
Starting with the free on-line courses scheduled for May-June 2021, the selected candidates will have the opportunity to participate in a 2-week internship at the project partners' premises, and then qualify for a two-month paid internship in Poland or Norway.
Each module of the program consists of a series of webinars and lectures conducted in English by a wide group of experts from around the world. The list of modules is varied and includes: audience development, music education, impresario, team management, art curation, sound (design and engineering), and light and multimedia
The introduction to each of the areas is a module devoted to audience development, so as to make the participants more sensitive to the preferences of diverse audiences and the importance of actively involving the public throughout the entire cycle of programming and implementing projects in cultural institutions. This particular module aims to build a community and its identity, providing a common space for the exchange of opinions and experiences and reducing social alienation and its consequences.
Meet the tutor Kevin Kleinmann
Kevin Kleinmann has devoted his entire career to working in the international music sector. He has held managerial positions such as: CBS Records / Sony (Vice President), Philips Classics (International Vice President), PolyGram Classique, France (Managing Director), Deutsche Grammophon (Interim President) and PolyGram / Universal Music International (Senior Vice President).
He is responsible for the development of the Music & Arts Management program at the University of Paris, where he has been lecturing since 1997. He is also an advisor and consultant in the field of marketing and development for many international companies, foundations, artists, orchestras and institutions.
